ABOUT THE STUDIO

Step into our cozy 690 sq. feet of intimate studio space centrally located in Midtown Phoenix. Perfect for photographers, creatives, and small event hosts, this space offers first-floor access for convenience and community restrooms just across the hall.

The studio is bathed in soft, diffused light, thanks to a west-facing window, large east-facing windows shielded by an outdoor awning, and solar tube skylights that create a balanced, natural glow throughout. Its airy vibe is accentuated by a clean, minimalist design with white ceilings, walls, and floors, complemented by a striking gray lime-wash accent wall for added texture.

For photographers, the studio comes equipped with professional lighting gear, including Paul Buff strobes and triggers, various lighting modifiers, and the Aputure 300d ii Continuous Light paired with a 36" lantern modifier to achieve any creative vision.

Whether you're hosting a photoshoot, workshop, or pop-up event, The Socialight Studio provides the perfect blank canvas for your projects.

The Socialight Studio is a family-driven venture inspired by creativity, connection, and entrepreneurship. With over 20 years of experience in the creative industry and as the founder of The Socially Awkward Agency, I’ve built my career helping small businesses and entrepreneurs bring their brands to life through thoughtful design and photography.

This studio is a special extension of that mission, born from a collaboration with my 17-year-old daughter, who shares my passion for photography, and my sister-in-law, who owns Blink Eye Care Phoenix, where the studio is located. Nestled next to Blink’s Midtown Phoenix practice, The Socialight Studio offers a bright, welcoming space for photographers, creatives, and entrepreneurs to create, learn, and grow.

Rooted in family, creativity, and community, The Socialight Studio is more than just a studio—it’s a place where talent can thrive, and stories can be told.
